About Mililani Kendo Club.
Welcome to the Mililani Kendo Club website. The Mililani Kendo Club was founded in 1983 by chief instructor James Oka Sensei. Throughout the years our members and senseis have continued to practice diligently in an effort to perpetuate the concept of being a lifelong learner as outlined by the All Japan Kendo Federation:
"Kendo Rinen is a way to discipline the human character through the application of the principles of the Katana” This is the concept of Ningen Kiesei...seeking perfection in both mind and body...the spirit to become an excellent human being. With this effort we keep the Beginner’s Mind...alert and ready."Let’s Keiko together.
The Chief Instructor.
